I couldn't find a method that worked as Disk Utility doesn't cooperate with OS 10.6 .dmg or .iso files, the instructions above might work on older versions of macOS, but I couldn't get it to work on Big Sur. But then I discovered that the same method I've been using to create bootable linux thumb drives works with the 10.6 .iso AND .dmg (depending on which one you have), and it's way easier and works on any operating system (mac/windows/linux). 2ff7e9595c
